“S.A.D.D. has been growing and has many new activities such as the mock car crash available to students to help prevent unhealthy behavior.” says Sarah Theal. It has indeed been growing with over 7 million students that have a S.A.D.D. chapter! There are many activities that S.AD.D. came up with and are very exciting! Such activities would be Grim Reaper Day which one person dresses in black and take pre determined people from classes and make them dead to show how drunk driving effects peoples lives. Such activities are fun and provide a new way to present the effects of unhealthy behavior.

S.A.D.D. not only has just drinking awareness, but also positive peer pressure, role modeling and environmental strategies can prevent other destructive decisions and set a healthier, safer course for their lives because all in all, S.A.D.D.’s goal is to provide students with the best prevention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions. To sum it all up, S.A.D.D. changes people’s lives for the better. Ultimately, you can change someone’s life just by inviting them to meetings and social gatherings and just to tell them how this wonderful this organization is.
